Excellent piece – I love the contrast in colour between the deep red dress and the muted bground. Quite like the effect of cropping from the left to off-centre the image– feels a little more bizarre somehow – but maybe you were going for a more ‘classical’ style composition… more like the ‘old masters’ – it does have that painterly composition – a formal portrait with a bizarre twist. Nice work.

Great image, would have used an additional light to bring some light to the book at the rear of the dress. as the dark books looks like they are exploding out of your dress and it is only when you look down that you realise they are in fact books and not the dress itself.
I assumed you have burned in some of the bottom right..

Hats off for the concept & creativity !!! Simply brilliant.
The model (U ?) & her dress is well lit & its colors look gr8. The Lighting of the background though is a bit patchy, could b lack of equipment. Since U usually plan it very carefully. Have to agree with A-H about the light on books from ur backside !!

AH: I know.. but I always work with natural light, and if I wanted to make light on the right side, I would had to use a focus, and it changes light's temperature and the colors.
