Mhiet'e of the Dhuriiehm.

Just a character study, really, but I needed something to help de-stress from college finals. I tried to balance the simplicity of the portrait by working very hard on the details and lighting. Mhiet'e is one of my most interesting looking characters. I had a lot of fun playing with her design. She has a very mysterious, quiet countenance that goes deeper than her outward look, so I tried to capture that in her face.

My productivity has been lacking because of schoolwork, but now I have a month off between semesters. I'm going to do my best to make good use of it, so expect more paintings very soon! :]

I understand, I just got on vacations and I am resting a lot. This is your best design so far, i agree. I love everything, specially the feathers on her head, I don't know why.

Ah, I do love your character designs. They're always beautiful, eerie, and somewhat otherworldly. The metalic sheen to her face suggests very interesting skin--a bit translucent and luminous. Diggin' it!
I think her chest is a little awkward, though, mostly because her breasts are more asymmetrical than would be natural.
Must not forget to mention how much I <3 the hair ornamentation and the murky background.
