Description
This is a piece commissioned by , his character Cera, whose twin is Jonec. It took quite a while, especially with school going on at the time, but it was finally done a couple of days ago. Not much to say, except I was asked to go all out with what I could do, so I did just that. It was a great experience, though there was some confusion with depicting the "Shadow", but I finally got it the way he wanted.
Several references for moths, sky, and the figures, used myself as I always do. Done in photoshop+wacom tablet.

reason I ask is cause I noticed all the darkness to the bottom right
so I selected the image and highlighted it and I can see something there..
is it just me the figure is to dark to make out?
or is my monitor setting to dark??
dunno.. if you like I will send you a screen shot of how I see it..
I took it into PS and lightened it and noticed looks like an evil elf of some sort?

lets get to it shall we? The "Shadow" character is quite dark I know, I had a hard time painting that dark, but still trying to retain as much form as I could. Hey, Pam, if you could send me a capture of how you see, I'd like to see how dark it is on other people's monitor, because it's considerably lighter on my browser than it was when I was painting it in Photoshop. Anyway, though it is dark, you should be able to make out the basic position and markings on the Shadow.
To Jane, I think the head is a bit twisted, more than it should be, hopefully it adds to the creepiness of the character. It is awkward though...
Kadary: If you can, take it in photoshop and lighten it a bit? I prefer it this way.:]
thanks again everyone! and Happy Holidays!

Oh, and I can see the shadowed figure quite clearly. I think lightening him at all would ruin the subtlety of the image.
One thing that does bother me a touch is the placement and scale of the lady elf's feet. Since the they're practically tangent, the foremost foot seems to be resting on the back foot, but I'm thinking this wasn't your intent. Also, the difference in scale between the two might be a touch too great.
Aside from my little nitpicks, this is nigh perfect. I'm dreaming of your next masterpiece!
