It was supposed to be a series of commissions. After I started to paint this image the client decided they didn't have enough to pay before I even got to show them, so I didn't get paid in the end...

about the client, I'd make them pay before you do anything for them, at least half up front. It's really frustrating to do all that work for nothing...but at least you get some practice right?
