Gorgeous work, I love her face and hair. Maybe because of the perspective, but it seems almost like she's falling or leaning backwards a little bit. Regardless, I love this a lot. Great figure and very nice details.

Sweet. Yes, definitely one of your best. I'm especially enchanted by the lighting. There's so much fun detail jammed into this compo (though, on a related note, I would slightly prefer it if the lovely lady were not so perfectly in the center... but her dynamic pose does counter this). I am kicking myself right now for unthinkingly clicking the mice close-up. The mouse who lost the knife fight is my personal favorite. Now, I may be the only one seeing this, but the lighting on her hips suggests concavity rather than fullness to me. Anyhoot, awesome job.

Andy, From a professional point of view, it lacks a few things. Her tummy is totally missing, it looks like a big hole, and the front leg is by far too long in comparison to the leg she is putting her weight on. Composition could be worked on. But at the same time there is ability in this work as well, so there are promising skills still to come, which is obvious too. Martina

I can only find 5 mice. The other I had to go see the closeups. very cool/original/unusual work! The concept is great, you have a lot of imagination. my paintings usually don't have any concept, I should work more on that. The witch is quite sexy, I like the gesture she does with her hand holding the mouse. one thing that bothers me a lil is the pots' golden color, I think it's a lil over saturated and clashes with the rest of the painting. The yellow cat shading/lighting is very well done, I like how we see just a litle of it'S tail. very great painting. +10 Mayybe you'll be nominated again this month Jordan

cheers mefisto. I used a ref for a guide to the the ginger toms face but it looks little like the photo now just needed to get the head position.And my hands and arms (used a webcam and mirror) for positioning of her arms and hands. When I use my hands and arms for reference I obviously try to feminise (is that a word?)them as well...unless I am painting a man...which isn't very often The black cat was made up.Pans made up as is the kitchen...which is obvious due to the bad perspective. I used a reference for one of the mice but the others are my own variations after that as I just needed the general idea. All references are just guides though rather than faithful reproductions.
