Description
I've never used so much effort on an artwork in my life! And even if there is a lot of things I could have done better, I feel it's the most complete work I've ever made.I've been going on and off on this for about 2 months. Struggeling especially with colors (since I painted it on a laptop). At one point I almost gave up cause they looked so bad... But I must admit that I'm proud of my patience.^^
Painted in Photoshop, Wacom. Original size was 6000 x 10700pix. No references, except for the flowers.
Please look the details and you will make a struggeling soul happy!
Details.
Before color edition. (lap top screens are evil).

I like better this edited color version btw.
You know already what i think about that, maybe I would have changed a little her facial expression/eye position just to avoid that "lost in the void" feel they have.
Amazing textures and details in the background... even if... well you know... i would have removed that bent branch
Keep this way amore !!!
I love you !

The pose reminds me of Jorde and is a little bit stiff. It might have been better to position her more to the right than to the left.
Very good work.

really lovely environment and atmosphere you managed to create

Freiz: Thanks for the great comment, I didn't notice that. It's amazing how much value small details can have. I'll keep a better eye on composition next time.
ThruMyEyes: Thanks!^^
Andy--Jones: Thank you. I only noticed the poor painting after I edited the colors, and then I was allready frustrated from the whole painting. Next time I will do better!
Thorsten: You are indeed very right. All my paintings tend to turn out rather stiff. I'm working on a more dynamic painting now.
Cigaro: Thank you!
Ikaa: I changed the size of the head three times.

The only thing I could think of is if you wanna let the light be a bit brighter.
But that´s just my humble opinion and afterall, I´m not a leading artist like you.
Top work, 9 out of 9 points from me.
Beautiful Sandra. Have a nice day!

just one little crit: it would look a bit more balanced if the the low range part of her body ( from the waist down) would be a bit bigger.
I love the mood and accord of colours in your work! my max

Top marks.. I wish I could give you more than 10 for this..
I love the light and the tone you chose for the drawing...

I have 2 minor crits though : the eyes are a little bit too small and too close to each other and the hands and forearm need some more work. Other things already have been mentionned
Very very lovely atmosphere!

Ryan: Light and shading is really something I need to work on. Have a nice day you too!
Beatrizmatar: Thank you!
Lolita: Thanks or your thoughts. I will keep them in mind next time I paint a dress. (wich actually is harder than it looks like.)
vprivat: Thanks my friend.
Violentcontact: I'm not sure what you mean with strange. If you mean it's stiff, then I agree. The pose was never really planned from the start, it just became like this while painting.
Daykan: Thanks!
Leloops: Lol
rafomundo: Thanks to you too.
Diane: I agree. There's a lot I could have changed in this picture.

I really like atmosphere of your latest paintings

I think she's one fold of the dress too tall.
The background and the flowers in foreground are ansolutely A W E S O M E.
I really like the tree right behind her, very well done.
I think she has a blasé expression, and seems to be gazing into nothingness. I agree with Diane about the eyes too. and one last crit would be that her skin is a little overly textured, almost like she had greasy skin.
I have to say that the rays of light coming through the foliage are amazingly well done. The lighting on the dress is well done as well, and the yellow daisies are very beautiful !

Crazyboy: Oh thank you. I spent a good amount of time working on the colors. I just opened my eyes towards texturing, and I find it very funny, perhaps a little too funny.

I have nothing else to add, others have said it all... her expression is a bit flat and lacking emotional, but there's also something very classic that I like about it (as well as her whole figure and outfit). Colours are just enchanting!
Laptops are evil >[
You get a +6/7 from me

You sure did a good job with this one! The first impression is stunning, and the colours are beautiful! Concidering that this was made with a laptop, it's extra good.
Her face is lovely when viewn as a full scaled detail. But in the resized version, it looks kind of round, like a ball. I think you could have defined the shape of her cheeks a bit more. Also, the head seems to be placed too far in front of the neck, if you see what I mean. It should be 'pushed back' a little. Now, I know you had a lot of trouble with that head, and it's really the only thing pulling the pic down, since it shows a lot. And that's too bad, because a painting like this would be outstanding if it wasn't for that little anatomy flaw! Can't you fix it? I know you can if you have the will to edit a so finished painting.
By the way, the flowers by her ear is a nice detail.
Er dette nok en gjennombruddstegning, tro?

Next time try atmospheric perspective and cooler tones on the background and more saturated colors in front, now the whole painting has the same colortones.
Your very much improving , can't wait to see your next!
