Description
Hi there,It`s my new work for one private customer ..
Live portrait of the woman which was my client.
Some of my own images was used as reference for guy`s body ( it`s my model Jan, you can see him here http://www.ljplus.ru/img3/s/o/sokkolova/_2.jpg)
And I drew some live-sketches from my sister`s arms couse I wanted to paint it in such difficult pose.
I was looking for a mystic mood, daybreak and soft airy feeling...
So I used a lot of airbrushes ( especially fot background ) and oils brushes here (it`s my favourite)
Using Painter IX.
I hope you like it, I have put a much of myself into this painting ...
PS/
I wish to tell you, that my Sketchbook is in this month issue of 2DArtists magazine.
Maybe, it will be interesting for some of yours to read, how I have created my paintings.
I have written few tutorials about my technique, about my process of creation works - from idea and pencil sketch till the finally digital work.

Is he walking through the water? He looks abit cut off.
However, lovely work. Dress in front of her looks a bit hard... should move along with the back part I think
I am impressed how you poainted all this from life, as you said, I'd still need photo ref

But elf ear of a guy or fantasy butterflies or strainge bird are unnaturally too.
I think, it`s very fantasy and non-realistyc painting...and, maybe, sometimes when I create new picture I have forgotten about reality
I was all in my fantasy, when created this work
Anyway, thank you for interesting comment, I appreciate it very much.

Though I can understand what some people said about details and the 'realistic/unrealistic issue' about your painting, I can understand your point of view of 'getting in another world' when painting...... I have the same thing. Unless I'm designing products....
Keep it up!

slickgreekgeo - Thx, George, I`m glad to see you here!
CocoNoir - Yes, it`s very pleasure, that you understand my point of view...I think we must create fantastic worlds, cause we can see real world every day around us
