Close-up:

Once a very handsome man, his whole life changed when his wife and kids were murdered. Since that time, he’s been holding a grudge against the people who killed his family, and learnt not to trust anybody. People call him “The Killer” as he undertook the painful task of avenging his family by spilling a lot of blood…

Two weeks on and off. Mainly during the weekends.

ChickenWings she was very useful in the WIP, very supportive and cheerful. She gave me most of the refs I used. The only refs I used except of hers were for the body which it was I in the mirror. Thanks Angi! 

Great work. The one concern with this otherwise strong piece is that he doesn't appear apart of this this moody scene. The atmosphere with waves crashing and dark clouds looming over head should play a more prominent role in terms of how he is lit, perhaps some blues upon his face and clothing to help bring the whole scene together. Nicely done with characters' form, features, and cloak.

Hey Jordan! I am so impressed with the progress with this piece; your best work so far. It looks much better now that he is on a cliff rather than a lone rock. There is a strange white outline around the hood that makes it seem separated from the background. The cloaks was a very nice touch and really helped out with your anatomy issues. I love the designs on the blade and the tattoos now seem much more integrated with your warrior. A few things: There are no shadows on the warrior from the blade. Also the red ribbons flying the wind and his loin cloth seems a bit flat. But other than that, I believe you have an awesome work here!

One thing that really pisses me off is the very thin highlighted outline on the left of the warrior and even the rock. Did you make it on purpose ? It tells me that the warrior was worked on a separate layer - which shouldn't be seen when the artwork is completed for everybody to see.

Whoa, you've improved a lot. Cool pic. My crit's on the thumb which look kinda off. Basically some parts of the image isn't blend to each other rather well yet (still look like it was done on separate layer), but the texture is amazing.

This peice is awesome, your skill makes me quite jealous.
The ship in the background sticks out to me, the sails don't seem quite right.
I think perhaps the boat needs to be tilted more for how tilted the sails are.

I thought it was POP fanart too. Good painting but the bg needs the same kind of attention than the rest of the painting. The boat looks very high and the sails seem a bit off. (I'm sorry that my english sucks) I think the painting would look way more focused without the whole ship.There seems to be an odd swirl in the sky that looks quite unnatural too. I have nothing bad to say about the character I think it looks excellent, even if it isn't the prince.

i like the ship you added but i agree with angrymikko, the sails are a bit too big and go to high up. maybe the sword should be effected with some skincolor or something..i dunno

Hey!

Compliments: Atmosphere, the background, tattoo's. Emotions on the man's face

structure on the blade and his clothing.
Crits: He seems to be cut into the senery. Lighting on this clothing (on the left) would help a bit, if u ask me. His right knee could use a little more work, more shading to the sides, and under the knee. . Last is his right hand, where the fingers grow to the hand, there are a bit to big holes. If u make litte to no holes, more flesh, it would look more real .

I hope these crits help u. I think u have put a really great atmosphere in this. Keep un doing your best

That's wicked painting.

The foreground water does a good job adding depth to the scene and the rocks could use a sharper texture imo.
