Well .... still with not too much time to work in pictures.. but wanted to share this guy that was in my way..... don´t tell me that a closer view would be better!!! hahahaha !!! the snake is black and the environment was very busy with lots of green leaves and branches so I made it B/W ... I found a lot of problem with the overexposed sky and the deep shadows... I may find the snake again... but I thought this was my chance to shot him !! please tell me what do you think !!!! Hugs!Canon Rebel XTi

Looks very much like a snapshot of a snake but I guess it is an unusual situation which was not that planned.
I too found a snake while walking the other day and unfortunitely I had the "wrong" lense on my cam. Here a solid telelense would have helped.

You say it's a black snake in a very green area in a tree.
It might be 1 of two snakes that you found.
A: Black Mamba snake (The fastest snake in the world)
B: Tree Snake, Green to Dark Green Color (A very Potent Venom in him)
But in any case, to get 1 of these 2 is very rare.
Great thinking to "Shoot"
