Could be sharper. Lighting needs a little work too, not much though.

good idea and nice colours. The lamp reflected is not the nicest you could find IMO. Why not having reflected something more "mysterious": a candle or a storm lamp for examples?

Woooo, I love these shots, tried one a while back too!!! were you aiming for the colours or the reflections? You have a bit of both, nice though.

Truth is, the DOF isn't splendid. The original is rather sharp, though, I mostly just blurred it out a bit because the dirt on the cd looked like noise. I was going for colors rather than reflections; I wanted to try how the colored lines on cd:s would behave when sent through water, and I also colored the water with two of those little color bottles used for coloring candy.

blackshad: I most certianly agree that yours is better. It does seem yours is from more of a macro perspective; please understand my limits here, as my camera isn't all that great for macros
