"Who is that tortured soul I see
Just standing still right in front of me
Grief overflow in crimson stream
Pain trapped inside the silent scream

He’s never been able to feel the joy of love
There’s nothing left behind but fear and doubt
When memories deliver all darkness and pain
It’s only in dream he may breathe again"

Story: A boy who was trapped and tormented inside a world in the mirror. It was his own doing, his own choice. He had resigned for it, yet he still longed for the world he once had. The world outside the mirror and a life
different from today.

I really like this too, only critique would be that the skin looks a little flat and lacking the drama that is present in the rest of the piece. Wonderful work though.

Although it is quite obvious that he is behind glass, I still liked when you had reflections in it. It's great though.

i'm impressed, this turned out really great! generally i'm not a big fan of paintings with stories that accompany them, but this one was actually interesting to read. it also helps a lot that the painting itself is interesting to look at and doesn't really need the story. so, well done.
i think there are still some technical aspects of this that could be improved, but they're very superficial and unimportant, so i won't mention them. i also enjoy the symbolism a lot.
also, it's so great to see someone who's so transparent about their work. this makes me respect you even more

Really beautiful image. The only critique I have is that the part of his finger tips quished against the glass, I think, should be a tad lower. But other than that, its a really beautiful and enthralling image!
