Description
This is another composition from the seashore at sunset of Yxlan, Sweden.I experimented with several filters (polarizer + ND) and long exposure again.
I find this composition slightly more interesting than my previous post. I hope that some will agree.
I dedicate this one to a very talented photographer who in turn gave me the honor on his last post: Humble Bee by
PS. Good luck to all nominees of this month!
PS (2). I was btw standing half way out in the water with camera and tripod to shoot this one!

Very cool! Love how the water looks like ice. Wonderful colours and lighting. And I agree completely about this being a more interesting composition than Seashore Magic by

The water looks like ice
Perhaps the yellows are a bit too saturated?
Excellent as always + 10

Thanks for such great shot ....

There is some overexposure but it's only bothersome a little on closer inspection of the photo yet it didn't draw too much attention when I first saw the photo, so I suppose it's OK here.

I think that U should be shooting such shots at twilight to get even better colors... Though i understand U r also aiming at getting the stuff below the water.
Experimental but Still nowhere around your best
sorry buddy !! I know u will understand what i mean !!!

I have to say it looks like ice or fog something like that
or worse some what polluted water?
im taking this shot and your other shot and seeing the same thing..
to me it doesn't look natural.. I would think if you took a photo of nature like this you would want your viewers to want to be there maybe go swimming?? yah know?
but if you look at the water I wouldn't swim in that eek.
sorry im giving you my first impressions..
maybe im all wrong but thats how I see it
I hope you understand
ps the rocks look great
pss I was gunna comment on your last one but after reading what you said in the say what about how teed off you were about getting a 0 I said oh boy better not say a word..
btw it wasn't me if I did I would say it... and also you shouldn't worry about that..
really its not a big deal..

- Slow shutter speed gives a smooth texture of water (like in a river stream)
- Fast shutter speed gives the details (like a turning wave)
To me it is a form of photography that I personally like a lot and appreciate but of course is something that I have learned from other photographers.I guess it is all a matter of taste, right?
The sea is good for swimming, promise you!
PS. Nice to see you comment my stuff btw (which happens rarely)...

I'm not crazy about the very strong yellow highlights on the rocks, and of the blasted horizon on the right.
Maybe HDRI could help, but it really must be done right, it's a tricky process. Most of the time I see a HDRI shot, I feel it looks cheesy and worst than a properly exposed "normal" shot with manual PP.
Good work!

I do agree with you and previous comments regarding the slight overexposure. Not happy about that part.
Regarding seeing more on the righthand side I was faced with a problem.
I am nowadays using a Canon 5D which is a full size camera. With this setup I was using my Canon 24-70 lense with Cookin filters and the Cookin filter holder is shown when going for the widest angle unfortunitely. This limits my possibilities for a wider view. It was wider but I had to crop it out due to this factor unfortunitely.
I will for sure have the possibility to experiment more with different camera settings for this kind of composition.
Thanks all for constructive critics!

Why? Maybe a hint too bright (overexposed).
Nothing else. Good work!!
