Yes, done before but not easy to do regardless. I think this would work better as a centered composition with the drop in the middle. Good capture Laura!

Thanks everyone;)

The water was dripping from a boat on a shore:)
I had to be a bit of an acrobat trying to get the right angle

Great work Laura! (thumbup)

Right at time!! Lol..
A bit more sharp it would be better i think.. but the fact that is not it gives some kind of surreal and magic mood to the picture..

Really stunning capture.
thx for sharing.. :)

Would like to see a center position for the impact area for the droplet!

It could be also a bit sharper!

Nice work though! ;)

i don't find the sharpness to be a problem, if blown up to A4 size or larger i would certainly think the edges should be well defined (as opposed to sharp, high contrast), but i think the subtle softness works well here. ;)

Yes it's a really nice shot! But it seems that the leaf under water and the brown mud/sand are distracting my eyes. But this isn't bad at all. Maybe that's why ThruMyEyez would like it to be a centered shot. I like the mud/sand and the leaf, it's almost more interesting than the water drop itself.

5/7 - am I too hard though I'm not doing any better with my pics?

Regards
Outback
