Sweet shot. Love those cooky creatures.
I think a hair more room at the top wouldn't have hurt, but I do like the strongly horizontal format; it echoes the caterpillar's shape nicely. Both the DOF and selective desaturation seem to be working well here. (thumbup)

The idea of selective focus and desat is good here, but the out of focus areas in both the front and background attract the eye and therefore somwwhat distracting.
Ecxellent details and angle.
What lens did you use?

nice selective focus and desat yeah
but i think it's need a close up or something
too much empty space imo :)

I used the standard lens of the camera the Zuiko Digital 14-45mm(they are really goood and well build considering they come as standart!). By the time I hadn't bought my fantastic close up filters!! I'll be showing their work very recently!! with the 14-45mm and a +7 close up filters... miracles can happen regarding macro shots!

Nice selective desat on the picture and saturation on the bug.
There is toooooo much blur around and looks like the bug is not completely in focus....!!!!!
A closer shot would have been much better...!!!
Well done...!!

Nice colour and desat work.
I was going to say that closer would be better, but it's less of an issue in the full version.
