I'm not sure if you're mainly wanting to show off your model here or create a scene, but it took me a while to figure out what the surface he was on could be. If, as I suspect, it's human skin, you should definitely do away with those grid patterns. Also, were this a painting, I'd suggest darkening the shadow under the tick.
