Description

Good day artists and photographers! I'm posting my first for the month of November titled "Heaven's Pathway!" This particular shot was taken on a snowboarding expedition in Mammoth. This particular cornice, in conjunction with the very windy conditions gave to this spectacular shot! I didn't think it would come out as good as it did, especially since I didn't use my DSLR to take it! Enjoy!

*Let me note that this is a composition. The moon is added in. The only adjustments to the image itself are a levels adjustment, moon/blending, and border. Both images were taken by me.*

As always, your C/C is appreciated and I thank you in advance!

Please take a look at the larger version!

Sincerely,
Tommyguns

7.8 mm..... is that the equivalent focal lenght for 35 mm.....the moon looks rather large for such focal length or is it a fragment?

Amazing colors!

7.8 mm would be about a 48mm 35mm equivalent. I agree, the moon seems a bit large.
The stated EXIF info doesn't seem to make sense especially for the camera.

It looks strangely like a water wave. Very nice abstract quality to this. Good work.

Like the image you did.
But i would remove the fake moon.
And if you chose to do so, you have to make it smaler and adjust the color to this cold blue atmophere.

Sweet. It has quite a vertiginous effect; I was seriously confused by the perspective at first, which is very cool. Yeah, overall it just has awesome lighting and a sense of unreality to it. I think it works with or without the moon, though, personally, I feel it would be more comfortable if moved a little down and to the left. Come to think of it, he (the Old Man in the Moon, of course) might also fancy relaxing in a cushy recliner before a toasty fire. ;)
