I visited a local park today and took some photos of the deer. This young White-tailed Deer is wild, but the park is inside Calgary and he's obviously not very afraid fo people. When we whistled the deer came towards us instead of fleeing away from us. I'm certain that they're getting handouts from some of the people that visit the park. This is only cropped a little bit - at times I was backing up in order to fit the deer in the viewfinder with my 75 - 300 mm lens.

Categorized as Figure rather than Nature. The guidelines indicate this is sometimes appropriate for animal subjects and this little one somehow seemed to have a lot of personality.
