Description

"Extreme Speed"
#2 of the FedEx series

Once again, the logo has been removed (from the truck).
These pieces were challenging in that I had to paint things I've never really tackled before, but that also made it fun.

Hoping the image will display (shows up below!) but since it probably will not (sorry):

i miss some grass and dirt flying away under the cheetas, to support the speed-effect

great work.
nice colors.
only the shadows of the gepards seems to be a little large.

Very nice composition. Good colors and I like the angle. It appears as though a ray of light is shining on the van. I'm not sure it's helping. Maybe less, so there is more contrast between midground and background. Swirly white paint motion squiggles are distracting and don't fit in. But, that's just one opinion.

Aww everytime I click on one of your artworks I can never see it.. dissapointed again :(

edit: but alas the other link works! - its a very nice piece, can really feel the movement, nice work.

The cheetahs are very nicely done, and good colors (except for the truck.) Difficult to show a box truck moving as fast as a cheetah, nice job.

Beautiful.
I also thought the shadows (of the first two cheetahs) were large.

Thanks for the comments, guys!
Soulja, that's a good idea. I don't know why I only gave the truck dust. D'oh.
Roadrunner, you're right about those shadows; they definitely seem too blobby now that you mention it.
Now I've just gotta summon the will to fix 'er up. So sick of looking at this by the time I was done. :p

Wow, well done this is excellent. Maybe the cheetah who's furthest is making everything else look slower because his leg is on the ground, but i'm not sure if that is it.

Awesome Kerry! So much life and movement in this. I'm not sure about how you treated the back of the van. I might have used a different method of indicating movement. This method to me isn't congruent with the scene you've depicted.

Wow, the speed and dynamic in here is just wow. The colors are extremely pretty too.

I agree about the shadows.
the vehicle looks like it's flying because the rear wheel barely touches the tips of the "grass".
apart from that, the piece has an interesting composition and is very well done. good work !

excellent dynamics in this piece! everything looks great, only thing i spotted was that the cheetahs' fur is a liiittle bit too smooth looking. would like to see some more textures there, maybe just a bit of irregularities on the spots and so on ;)
otherwise wonderful
