This piece of concept art I did for a small contest for fun. It's base on a character "Monkey King" or "Sun Goku" from Journey to the West. I make him a bit older so it looks like the version after the actual story. I am also inspired by face painting in Chinese opera. So here it is.

I really like the way you have focussed on the king.....Nicely worked out details.

Very nice work. Looks a bit unfinished near the bottom though; check the quality of the brush strokes at the bottom against those near the top.
