Description
John 1:12-13 12) Yet to all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God— 13) children born not of natural descent,[c] nor of human decision or a husband's will, but born of God. This is a very important message. A little background on this is that it was written by the Apostle John. Who also gifted in the prophetic ministry of being a faith witness of Jesus and able to project his testimony in truth and spirit. If you noticed the context of what John spoke. He says "To all who recieved him, to those who believed his name" Wait a minute. This message was written before A.D 96 when he recieved the Revelation of Jesus Christ on the island of Patmos. So in this Gospel written by John he speaks into the future of when Jesus shall come again for those who believed in his name. Those who endured against their will but faithful became witnesses of who he was. Not born of "natural descent" Jesus, was born from God and through Mary through conception occuring through the holy spirit. John is speaking of a future of children who are born of God. Well how...what are our examples. Elizabeth, the mother of John the Baptist, was the first woman of the new testament who was a reception of the Holy Spirit; and she recieved it when she was pregnant. Eventhough John was conceived through Zacharias and his mother Elizabeth. Jesus was through Mary and the Holy Spirit from God but his earthly father was Joseph. And the future will be a generation of parents who are under the Holy Spirit that shall give birth to children that shall inhabit this earth. The bible says that we are to be "In this world, but not of it." Children and familes that shall love each other with purity, covenant, and passion for the things of God. Which is love, truth, and mercy for every living thing that is in existence. The devil cannot love. What a kingdom this shall be!! Jesus does not make it hard to come to his hands. Just accept him. It's like being in a dark room and stepping into a hallway of light. Every part of you can be seen from your colors, clothes, and face. You are illuminated from the root of your life being by the spirit. You feel from the light the warmth around your skin. You feel identified and seeable. And with God you finally connect with the love that you were born from. Being a part of his body itself. -RTW Beginning tagline from Hezekiah Walkers "I need you to survive."
