Description

...
Thank you for being in my life
You have decorated a part of me
Thank you for things you’ve said and done
I have untied the blindfold of my own lies

I will turn my mind and soul away from you
For I do not belong in your realm
I will open the windows of my heart to a new world
And treasure every single sun ray that enters my soul

Thank you for being honest and showing me the truth
I am leaving now; there’s no more turning back
Forgive me for I will not be visiting
Good luck to you.

Goodbye.
...

I apologise for not painting for sooooo long~! I actually had painted a few other pieces, but never got around to finishing them! I'll try to finished them when I feel motivated again.

This painting was started back in Dec 2007, but due to my laziness and holidaying and playing computer games, it wasn't completed until today =P. Hope you like it.

Every painting reflect a little bit of me. And I hope I will stop painting sad looking people soon!! >.<

And I wish all the best to my art viewers out there!!

edit: made the dress more saturated:)

Nice work, good composition and pose
My only crit would be that some colours are a bit "grayish" for example in the dress like you made them darker without mixing another hue in it....

the 'grayish' bits may be the white fog infront of her which desaturated the colours of her dress. I'll see if i can put the fogs in other places, so it doesn't not obstruct the dress. =D

Thanx for the comments jawine and oldskool87

I made her dress more saturated now. Hmmm.. hopefully it's not TOO saturated =/

Gorgeous! I really love this piece!! The only thing that bugs me is her shadow. It doesn't cast properly off of her feet and the dress shadow can use some rhythm to match skirt flow. It would dramatically enhance the effect of the wind as well as the overall composition imho. The character however is superb, Nice Work!

Yeah, agree with Carlos... she looks very sad but lovely, however I just have one crit, that would be her left foot, it seems a little odd! ...that's just me though! But overall, it's still brilliant piece! :) Keep them coming!

Nice moody work :) The shoulder area seems a bit too large though.

Beautiful scene and the girl looks cute too. I think the shadow on her dres is a little too dark though. But overall its a very pretty painting!
