Happy 2008 folks! Here's my latest of a series of kitten shots I've taken. Enjoy "Companionship!"

These are two purebred British Shorthair kittens we have. We found a home recently for the female (the one on the left) and are keeping the boy. His name is Mason. They're awesome and so very personable! Adorable? Absolutely!

Seems slightly out of focus, but that might be my eyes. Also, im not a big fan of pet-photo's, they tend to be a little 'simple' if you can understand me.

Technically definitly not a bad photo. The colours are good, DOF just fine, and I like the soft feeling to it. Im just missing the 'Oompf'...

Tom! Glad you posted something recently! At first glance at the large thumbnail it looked rather like a two headed cat. That would've been sweet....but I'm glad it's not! I think a less two headed cat look approach might strengthen the photo though

Thanks everyone for your C/Cs! I purposely applied a "dream glow" effect to the shot, which takes away from the sharpness to give it a softer, more compassionate feel.

I have no problem with the sharpness, or lack there of, in this shot it works perfectly fine (imo), soft cute kittens, on a soft velvety sofa ... soft focus, you betch'a! : )
Top mark, well deserved, I especialy like the off-centered composition and the very wide format of the image .. this would make a wonderfull poster.
