I don't understand what reference means.You used some other artist drawing to copy it for your dragon?! I used to think that reference is a photography which you use to learn proportions and light/shadow issues.
Anyways..In case it is your own drawing.I like it.I think you could add more details inside the mouth and the membranes.Nice work

i think using references in what way ever even trying to redo some others artists pieces is alway a good thing to train if u don´t forget to do as well your own things even great renaissance or baroqu masters did it

the main reason for the reference was to show that i didn't create the whole design on my own
