Description
Ole !I really hate corrida. It's barbaric, bloody without any purpose, unfair and humiliating to those poor slaughtered animals. So, let the bulls have their revenge

great idea.

I love your take on this subject! You managed to make it funny too.
Look at that vicious glimmer in the eye... and the strong, red colours screamind "danger". Very nice.
I'd like to see a little more space between the feet and the edge of the pic. The rest is great!

Having said that, love your concept. The "bulls eye" is drawing all the attention with the help of the nicely positioned sword. I can feel rage coming out of it. I would have loved to see the extremeties just a tiny bit longer and some shadows around the sword and the back... but that's just my 2 cents.

Jane, yes, I agree, the composition is a little bit crammed, dunno why, but I should pay more attention to this kind of stuff
Purplerose, i wanted to make the bull stand out more from the background, like he's coming out of the picture to haunt some unsuspecting matador
Picky, I tried to maintain the proportions of a bull, even though it's humanized, that's why he's not that graceful... you are totally right about the shadows on the back, thank you
Sharkh20 i agree, there must be something to it that eludes me.... but I think it's a bit hypocritical to enjoy unleashing your old hunting instincts in a totally unfair and controlled environment. It's easy to be tough when you're holding all the cards... and there are plenty other "extreme sports" out there which don't harm anyone or anything else. When animals play with their prey it's considered cruel, but they don't know any better. Humans should know better.

"It's barbaric, bloody without any purpose, unfair and humiliating to those poor slaughtered animals".
All wrong. The bullfighting is an ancient tradition (not a barbarian show). Bloody? Well, I don't know how you romanians work in the slaughter houses, but I can imagine. Without any purpose? I think you don´t know the purpose and, because of your ignorance, assume there's none. Unfair? I'd like to see you in the face of a 600 Kg's brave bull armed just with a rag and a sword. Humiliating? Running away from your own country is humiliating; to do what you've come to do in this world (kill/die) is something to be proud of (I'm sure you don't understand, but it is). Poor animals? Brave bulls have better lives than you and me and I couldn't call such amazing animals "poor".
Criticizing bullfigths because of the way they're done is like criticizing classical music because of the harm humans do to the amazonian rainforest when they construct violins.
You, ignorants, first-world-wannabes. Say "I don't like bullfights, but maybe it's because I don't understand them", and keep your ignorant and pretencious opinions to yourselves.

I particularly find the pre-wounding of the bull to slow him down awful. It isn't a sport in any meaningful sense of the word. It's gorno.
I love the way the bull's anger, rage and fury comes through, not just in the face, but in his whole stance. It's a real 'I've-had-enough' feeling.
Brialliant.
