Would prefer if she was looking at the camera and the crop is a bit tight.
Reminds me of someone

Nice capture! Thanks for your comment.
I thought he looked better when he looked away from the camera. I have other shots but this is my prefered one.
Is the size to big?

Appologies if I have offended anyone with this photo. It was not intentional. this photo is my own workand is purely coincidental that it looks similar to other peoples work.
Thanks for your comments.

Why say it is manipulated without any reason.
I think too that it is a bit tight but a decent shot!

MsMichelleLynn: Thank you. I don't understand how anyone would think this is a manipulation. There are apes all over the world. It is not an endangered species
The crop of this photo is different, the ape is clearly different. I don't understand what all the fuss is about?
I can see that it has some similarities but it is not the same. It was not intended to be the same. It is my own work, no one else’s and it is not a copy or manipulation.
It would seem that technical details account for not a lot these days as most of the feedback I have received for this is a negative based on the fact that it is similar to another photo. But there are so many photographers in the world today that I don’t believe there can be a single shot that isn’t similar to someone else’s.
Thanks for the comments

Great work

the details are great.

This is clearly not a manip. It isnt a copy in any way of almost humans work, yes its an ape, thats the only resembalance.
Moser I thought you were all for technically correct photos? and imo this photo is more technically correct that A/H photo (no offence almost human)
Why is this photo getting such bad comments and insinuations that its a copy? or a manip? when clearly it isnt anything or the sort.
Andrew i think this is a fantastic photo and I can not see a single thing wrong with it.
Top marks and keep up the good work!

Well done

I have not at all even considered this to be manipulation.
If you read the comments correctly this was mentioned by kittycat.
Asking for more details of a picture just helps the ones who could possibly be in doubt. I have never been in doubt regarding this shot.

Stop arguing over my photo!
Liddlelarsen: I thought the Ape looked sad which is the reason for the crop, to capture the facial expression. I would be sad too, locked in a cage all day, regardless of the size of it.
Itzpapalotl: my intention was to capture the face only. Hence the tight crop.
Thanks for all the comments.

Nice closeup. I wish it was bigger though - so I could have seen all the little details and felt the closeness of this amazing creature.
