Description

This ends a chapter of my past. I banned it inside this picture.

Thanks to old geezer  Kaduflyer for the help. You could bind a whole Tutorial-Book with the advices he send. It reads like a bible. Maybe some ancient lightning struck him on a mountain and he came back to tell us what he saw. Dunno. Anyway, he's a prophet!

Pretty nice. :) Good work with the blood.

May want to check your anatomy though.

Wish the head wasn't cut off.

Anatomy. Yes. Always. But where here? Shoulders too big? Ass too flat?
Can't see it.

maybe the ass is a bit too flat, but then we all have different sized arses don't we? Nice work GM, very dream like...or nightmarish I should say!

Mostly the hands. I'm not a drawer initially, so I'm not that versed on anatomy, but the torso seems a bit too stretched based on the positioning of the breasts.

True. I still have problems with hands.
The stretched feeling may be because of the flat arse. Dunno!
Anyway, thank you both.
I'll keep that in mind for coming stuff.

Some good elements, surreal colors. Composition needs more work. Our point of view is the girls waistline which doesn't do anything.

True. Now that you mention it...
Hmm... It was meant as a spiral, but I totally forgot the point of view. I thought the red of the blood would grab enough attention. Seems I was wrong. Not carefully thought out enough, I agree.
Wonder what I could do to fix that...
Thanks for unlocking that door in my head.

very nice
hands could use some work and the breast seem a bit to low

Difficult work, not a "pose" you see often. Personally, I think some work in shading and some additional, subtle color on the skin would greatly benefit the picture. Good painting though.

Thank you for your comments.
I guess kadudefly will spank my ass until dawn, that I published it, when I look at all the critique. He even predicted some of them.
I have to admit, that I'm just not good enough. But I'm trying to get better day by day.
So keep the crits coming, folks! They are much appreciated!

I think its a very good effort and a great end -- as in end of chapter. for the comp you might try a somewhat tighter spiral which leads us to the light

The thorns are evil - I have a strange attraction to thorns they just seem to be loaded with symbolism and imagery, and these look particularly cruel.
Looks like you have a diffuse light source coming somewhere from the back I think the lighting from that angle would tend to distort and flatten depth, and play tricks with the shadows... so that works for me...

ganz schön krass. Und über unserer Anatomieprobleme hatten wir uns ja neulich bei c-to-the-esar unterhalten..
Ansonsten finde ich die Stimmung ziemlich eindringlich.
