Description

It's been a long time GFX. This was supposed to stay a drawing, but my scanner doesn't like to play nice and transfer all the details as it should. So I took it upon myself to paint over it in greyscale. This will be sold in a local shop matted and shrink wrapped.

Also, my wife was kind enough to pose for this pic. Done in Painter 9.5

Lovely.

It's nice to see a fairy doing something else than flying around looking pretty and perfect.

Good job on the anatomy and shading. To me it looks like her thigh is a bit too thin, but why must everything be so perfect?

This is incredible! I love the twigs and such coming out of her back and legs; they almost look like tattoos coming to life. It's my favorite on the recently posted.

Nicely done. Dig her expression; it's very contrary to the stereotypical fairy look. My favorite part in terms of rendering is the lower right with its twisty branches. Overall, I think you might add contrast to give the forms more weight and a sense of modeling and also consider modulating the values around her lower legs (things get a bit confusing down there).

Very nice work. I really love the composition and the expression is awesome. Could use more contrast by adding either darker tones or a few choice highlights.
