Description

Coming home after a weekend of skiing. There's obviously not much snow on the prairies but there's lots in the mountains where it counts.

HDR - 3 exposures from one RAW file.

EDIT - The original has been replaced by a slightly darker version.

A good image Don. A bit light for my taste, I'd try darkening it a bit. I'd also clone out the truck at the top of the hill just leaving the red car which fits the color scheme perfectly.

I like it Don. I thought it was a painting by looking at the thumbnail. It's different because of the lack of blacks and the strong reds. I also find the composition unique and attractive. This shot breaks some rules but that's what makes it work.

Great job!

Thanks for the comments. I have linked a darker version.
Also, I didn't say so initially but this is HDR using 3 exposures from 1 RAW file.

Very cool composition. I don't know if I would remove the truck... I would have waited till he was a bit closer. I think this kind of scenery is more related to truck than cars.... But that's just me... I too prefer the darker version.
Great work.

Nice landscape shot. The darker version is better, altho the differences are minor.

Thanks for the comments. I have darkened it slightly and added a link to the version that I posted initially. I like the car and the truck :)

Looks definitely like an improvement over an already great piece of artwork! :p

It's great(thumbup)I prefer darker one. I would also get rid of the car and the truck.

it works. it's a hard deal for me to accept this as this against every rule of composition I normally preach, but it simply works.
I have to add that I like fumera's shadowing a little bit more ;)

A really neat image. The colors are great and I think this off-centering composition is perfectly done! You've also chosen a nice height, how did you acomplish this? Great tranquil work, keep it up man!
