You did a especially good work on the hands. Can I ask how long this took you? When I paint with oils they never seem to dry...

Thanks, This one went a little quicker than usual with the loose background...about 2 months by the calendar... about 2 weeks with brush in hand. I also run into the drying time issue (some colors just refuse to cooperate(Liquin helps)...I'll rotate a few paintings at a time so I don't have to sit and watch it dry...lol

very cool piece bro. i've looked very hard to find a crit for ya, and can only come up with a tiny and subjective one hardly worth mentioning. the dark blues and purples of the dress seem inharmonious with the red/orange/green theme of the rest of the piece. very well done! 8/8

Great piece! It has a great depth to it. Lighting is good IMO. Not every piece of art needs a strong lit source. This has a nice softness to it. I do think though that her midsection feels a bit flat by comparison with the great depth the rest of the painting has. But by far, the best piece in your gallery.
