Description
My interpretation of Luthien from J.R.R. Tolkien's Tale of Beren and Luthien. Unlike the elves in the movie she's wearing vibrant colours to reflect that it was the height of Elvenkind in MiddleEarth (the second age), and she is often depicted wearing blue. The jewel on her headdress is supposed to be the Silmaril that Beren and Luthien took from the Crown of Morgoth. The reference photo is here: http://eyes1.busythumbs.com/users/a/ahemes/eyes1/images/11123931960Monica_Bellucci027.jpg I made her features a little more Elven as well as many other additions as you can see. I've been working on this on and off since December.

You're a master on the hair, it looks so real!
My only crit would be that her face is not so smooth coloured, specially the left cheek.

Some of the rendering could be a bit better, particularly on the ear. Some details in the black part of the clothes could be useful.
Could have a different color background.

Overal piece looks awesome too!
Would have loved it more if it were in a elvish setting, maybe some trees and ambient?
7/7!
