Sorry haven't been on GFX for almost a year now.
This composition was made for the layers back page contest.
The contest was to create a movie poster, a magazine cover, or a short movie clip with the given planet from the bottom left corner with the theme of science fiction.
The alien and the earth are stock photos. Gotta love those guys! (yes, it was permitted to use stock photos).
The deadline was April 4th. The winner, announced the 21st of April, will receive $300 in awards and will be on the bag page of the Layers magazine.

Pretty cool idea.

I really like how the superimposed face brings the composition together.

I think the lens flare could work better here if it was either bigger or in a different spot.

The text could be a bit brighter.

The skin(?) of the alien could use a bit more contrast.
