Description
I really should have put the last version in a wip forum...never the less, this is the final version. I'm happy with this one. Next up...Winter. Just noticed the last version made it to the top ten...whoops. Also, apologies to the people that commented previously. I appreciated the input and hope you would chime in on the newer version. Thanks^_^This is the first piece created in a series of four dealing with the four seasons. Fall is my favorite time of year, so it was a good place to start. Nothing special as far as story...just a boy in a places less ordinary than ours, whether they be real or his imagination, I leave up to the viewer to decide.
These will be going up in the same store as the previous pic I posted, so crits are welcome. I purposely wanted the b/g to mix with the old tree behind the boy. To sort of blend him in. Children are low on the list of things I draw or paint, so it wasn't the easiest for me.
Original drawing is here: http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v294/yerffej/?action=view¤t=fall-sketch.jpg
As usual, Painter 9.5 and lots of hours.

Maybe make the shadow on the tree a little darker.
