Description

So, boys and girls! I'm back with something new.
Textures from: http://rampagegraphics.deviantart.com/art/Texture-5-80938317 by rampagegraphics
Model: Nevermoria: http://nevermoria.deviantart.com/
Photographer: me.
Editor: me...

Actually the photo was a part of a session we did back in 2006(I think)..would've started playing with them sooner if it wasn't for my good friend Sloth.

And I still haven't figured out the new rules for photos and photomanips, so if there's a valid reason, I'll move it to the other category :p

Should be moved to photomanip because of the textures...

Looks pretty nice though. Needs more contrast; your highlights are dull.

purplerose: well i wasn't aiming for more contrasts. the theme to me is about fading, so mellow tones go well with it. thanks for the comment though
oldskool87, Carlos, Matías, thank you guys :) i'm glad you like it

nice artwork. the idea is getting through.
I think it should be in the photomanip topic, too.
Great job, anyway.

lol, Curly, she has blue eyes naturally..I simply brightened the color a bit to match how it is in reality, because the picture came out rather dark..didn't wanna mess with her eye color! thanks for the comment
Jawine, Mamoun, Mary, thank you all very much for the comments and votes x)

Cool work Mariam! I like the goggles, that is a cool idea. And her eyes look so blue I think they look good as they are myself.

Very nice work Mariam. I love the colour range in the image even though the contrast is muted. Well Done :)

On the issue of it being too dark, I too have an LCD monitor. I believe this is a touch too dark. If you are using Photoshop, if you look at your Levels Histogram (Image>Adjustment>Levels) You'll see a lack of lighter tones at all. I'd make your Highlight Input Level about 180 (slide the White slider to the information on the histogram stops). By personal preference I'd also move the midtone Level to about 1.5, but that's just me. I hope that helps :)

:) Thanks for the ideas, Rapael. I'll keep that in mind for future works.
CreativeSchism, thanks for checking it out!

I think this is great!! only thing for me to mention- the hard-edged line of the left-side of shirt seems a wee bit too abrupt in contrast to the fading right-side
