Description
Please check out the larger version linked below, as the image is very horizontal. This is Lineage 2 fanart of a light elf wearing the draconic armor and holding the demonic sword Zariche. Normally light elves are all goody two-shoes in the game (although slightly less so in the concept art), so I wanted to depict a mean looking light elf for a change. And what better excuse for that than being possessed by the demonic sword he happens to be wielding.
Done for a Lineage 2 themed website header (after cropping ensues). Had a heck of a time getting the patterns on the armor just right, but I'm pretty happy with how it turned out.
Corel Painter 9, Wacom Intuos 3, about four days on and off.
Edit (01.05.08 ): fixed the far hand a bit and adjusted the blade at one spot, which turned out to be less pointy than I'd initially assumed.

1. The elf's expression doesn't really fit the environment they are in. A little to nonchalant and he doesn't look overly battle worn which I would guess he is after levelling high enough to get that sword
2. The fingers on the right hand should probably be fully clasped around the grip and his right shoulder could be a bit higher to indicate that the sword has some weight to it, like here...http://tinyurl.com/6ky47a
3. Moving him to the right would make for a better composition me thinks too.
A wonderful piece in the end! The detail you've put into the armour is amazing. Good stuff!
