Description
For those of you who know my work, perhaps I should have titled this "not a bug". Believe it or not, I do have photos of things besides spiders and flies. Capturing the magic of this morning scene with a camera was impossible. Better equipment could have improved my chances, but the lighting was so 3D, the mist hanging in layers, the sun rising over the mountain lighting up trillions of little droplets like tiny lanterns hanging from every surface. I did split the sky from the land so it's sort of a two part HDR, otherwise the sky would be pure white.Nikon D200
Nikkor DX 18-70
focal length: 18mm
shutter: 1/80

That's a pity for the lens flare but really good!

love the sun and lens flares, even if it doesn't look so professional... I feel like I'm there.

Agree with FAV the clouds are a little overexposed.

Agree about flare and cloud issues mentioned.
Nice mood though!

Lens flare is way too distracting.
Overall, the photo is overexposed.
Composition feels scattered and random, could be better and show that it had more thought placed into it. The spider photo is way better than this.
