Description

Another sketchbook drawing while students were working on final projects. Although not a portrait, per se, the reference shot has a weird smirkyness to it that caught my eye.

I think I over worked it compared to other pieces I have done. It took about three hours. The head and neck was from reference, everything else I made up. The goggle's geometries could use some more work.

Drawn with Sketchbook Pro and a tablet.

Thanks for the comments everyone. Like most pieces I do, I would change a lot of things. My biggest mistake here was drawing without thinking about the doc first. Meaning; I sketched a large portion of this without thinking about the page resolution. By the time I saved and checked settings the deed was done. This file here is almost 100% at 72 ppi. that is the reason for the coarseness of the pencil line. Oh well ... learn and move on ... ;-)
