I like the tone of the picture.
IMO the top right background is really distracting so the big leaf (but probably it will give the sense of shyness).
Probably you can crop the picture keeping the flowers and cutting away the background.

Colour version is better. The background is busy and distracting, but not as much as in the B&W. Needs some noise cleaning at the background.

I agree with the comments about the colour version. It looks better! I would suggest a stronger blue in the BG.

I think the pedals in both pictures should be whiter.

The flowers do have a rather calm feeling to them. As mentioned above the petals do appear to need more white. Composition is alright, but it is somewhat cramped with the extraneous bits of flowers in the frame. For example, the piece of leaf at left edge and flower in upper left corner. The leaf on left edge is cramping because it brings edge in slightly, as well as it being in focus draws attention to it. The flower in upper left corner adds weight upon the leaf below it, not much but, it also has more highlights cast upon it then flowers intended to be focused on by the viewer.

I don't know much else to add to what has been said already. I think for the color version though, you might want to try to desaturate those greens a little bit so it lessens the distraction! And I think the title works great with the image, it fits!
