why is she holding her head? would it fly away otherwise?
this gesture makes some pressure from above, that may not be what you wanted to show.
the lighting is ... ellbow-effectife (the left eye is too dark). she holds and defends in one gesture,

This generally works, especially the use of lighting to create the mood of this photograph. The pose is different and may have worked better if her arms weren't mirroring each other. However with this pose emphasis is drawn towards her face, which has a strong feel to it. The dark area in lower right draws attention to a degree away from your subject and it also gives a slight impression that she is above the floor. A tighter crop may have worked to keep her grounded more so and keep attention on her. Nice.
