Description
This is from my latest trip to Northern Arizona, a totally different area in terms of climate and landscape to the Sonoran desert at the south and center of the state.I went looking for toads at a cattle tank, but only found tedpolls. As it started to get dark I saw about half a dozen of these Striped Hawkmoths (also called White-lined Sphinx Moth) hovering like hummingbirds around this flowering bush. What a sight.
This was the best shot I got. I was pretty happy with it, given the short time I could spend there.

Nice capture! How do you manage to capture them still in the air like that? Well, I guess it depends on the camera and its functions... It would never work with my digital camera. lol.
Well done!
