I love the colours and the shadowing - but a couple of things throw me here, I'm suprised noone else has said anything. The little speckles of blue between the tree leaves put me out a bit, they don't seem to fit with all the other colours... And the highlight on the water is so overpowering that it seems to steal the eye from the rest of the picture... Just my 2c worth.

Good work but could I comment on the lighting? This is a light cast by a nuclear blast probably. Your primary horizon light is stark white and there's too much of yellow light as secondary....burns the scene. Probably a softer mix of orange, chrome and white would have worked wonders...excuse me for being too nasty but couldn't help advising. Hey I'm a newbie here but my 2cents worth... the over all picture is very peaceful. I can hear the birds singing just about now I'm so jealous. But yes, the reflection off the water is a tad too strong. If you lowered it a little, and got rid of the blue betwen the leaves, the picture would be perfect. The white horizon is very appropiate for the picture, so don't mess with that! And if you insert a person, you'd have to make the person very serene... sitting on a rock perhaps, and gazing into the water. But I suggest you don't, because the wrong person would ruin the picture totally.

looks great... i agree, a character would ruin it so its fine without... one thing i dont think anyone has picked up on is the leaves on the right hand side about 1/4 - 1/3 of the way down, they seem to all end on quite a straight line... maybe doing something to break it up would help GREAT WORK!!!!!!! nice one!

Love the work. The one thing that does not make sense to me is the shadow of the dock on the hill that would be shaded with where the sun is setting. There would be nowhere near enough reflection off the water to cause that dark of a shadow. Colors are awsome. I can hear the grasshoppers and crickets.
