Description
I was playing around with Skyboxes for a realtime 3Dbackground and it sort of led on to trying my hand at generating landscapes with Maya. One thing led to another and I decided to model a couple of trees, ferns, bushes, etc and I ended up here. I'll be using this scene again later for an animation I have in mind. The colours are mad (I've done a series of alternatives) but I like the surreal effect.

The little speckles of blue between the tree leaves put me out a bit, they don't seem to fit with all the other colours...
And the highlight on the water is so overpowering that it seems to steal the eye from the rest of the picture...
Just my 2c worth.

Nice colors, but I agree that the highlight on the water is a bit exaggerated. I also would like to see a character or something. I'm not such a big fan of landscape pictures... But hey.. that's just my opinion

Maybe, you should make the scene a bit less plastic-looking.
But great indeed!

one thing i dont think anyone has picked up on is the leaves on the right hand side about 1/4 - 1/3 of the way down, they seem to all end on quite a straight line... maybe doing something to break it up would help
GREAT WORK!!!!!!! nice one!
