Description
I was commissioned to do some video game related artwork, and this is the final piece. Inspired by the games Kinetica, Metroid, and others that involve girls in robots. The suit was drawn in Macromedia Fireworks, and everything else was painted freehand in Photoshop with my trusty Wacom tablet. Her suit is supposed to be translucent in parts so that you can see her through it.
Working res was 4000x6000. Many hours.
Now, critique me! Tell me what you like, what you don't like, what's good, what's bad. Give me ideas for other weapons, backgrounds, eye colors, shoe sizes, what I should make for dinner, or whatever else you feel like.

Crits? Well, the only thing that comes to mind is that, in terms of the armour, the helmet doesn't seem to be attached to the body that well. It needs some kind of neck piece. I don't think she'd want the helmet popping off.
I also think she could use some dogtags.

I think maybe it could use a bit more color though. It's a little monotonous right now. Also, maybe some varying line weights for her suit would be good--maybe larger ones to outline the larger segments of her outfit and divide it up some?
Also, I'm not totally convinced that she's going to kick some ass...maybe she does need dog tags or a tattoo or...you know, something that makes her a bit less supermodely
Really though...great stuff!

A little nitpicky crit since you asked... Personally, even though I think you did a bang up job with it, I'm not a big fan of the closeup face in the background. It just seems out of place. Maybe painting out the scene where she is putting that suit to good use?
Sweetness overall

I especially like the femininity of the robot shoes, the heels are a great touch.
I think the helmet is fine, it may look strange to people because her hair doesn't
fill it completely like on the other side, but it wouldn't unless it was a super tight fit and having your head in a football helmet is bad enough, imagine having to wear something that tight in a full suit of body armor. Hope I helped.

When I started drawing some 5 years back, I began with comics. Some time later I began adding a girl figure in the story. This girl came back repeatedly and I had to come up with a name. Eris.
Since that time, I've tried to make her character as beautiful as possible. She kept lingering in my fantasy and comics, eventually critizised by my friends and family who were thinking I associated her with another girl at school.
Now, I am not making comics anymore, but single, stand-alone drawings. I still draw her now and then (so-called Erispictures), and keep meeting her in my fantasy as my guardian angel (maybe I'm crazy, but it just feels good).
And whenever I see her name somewhere (movies, greek mythology, or the internet) I think back of all this.
You certainly gave her the credit she deserves. Thank you.

For a critique I would say that the shadow around her belly button kinda makes it look like she's got a huge indention around her belly button.
