Painted in Photoshop. Inspired by the wonderful art of Ted Nasmith and Mary Baxter St. Clair. Approx two days to complete, total of around 10 hours.

The woods are absolutely gorgeous!! The light, shadows and and and......wow.

I have also tried to paint woods and I know how difficult it is....

yeah, this is quite nice i really love that fact that the woods seems so spacious and she seems so small. but what i would suggest is making a ground a bit different from the tress and defining the horizon cause i don't see one right now.

I really love the idea behid this painting, but I have the feeling that it would look better if the woods would be more blurry. Than there is more focus on the lovely lady in the front!

Pretty! I love the atmosphere! The girl is nicely drawn too! Maybe it'd be good to see some more depth pushed into the piece...really open it up. It's always good when you feel like you want to live there

I knew the work of Ted Nasmith and this painting reminds me of "Luthien"(http://www.tednasmith.com/silmarillion/TN-Luthien-Web.jpg)
I personally think the background needed a little more blur, or lighter colours.
Anyway, It looks great though!
