Good painting skills, but theres a few problems. The werewolf seems to be rendered in a differect style that the girl, they dont look like they were done by the same handwriting. Also, the lighting on the girl is much too bright, it doesnt match the darkness the wereworf is in. even is the were wolf is soposed to be in the shadow, it looks weird. Another thing is the reflection of the girl on the metal. Theres a strap of fabric (?) on the girl's lower arm which is not reflected in the metal.

Anyways, looks pretty good, but fix this stuff and it will be fantastic!

Looks very nice! But I think that the moonlight falling on the cloud is a bit fake. Looks like the clouds are 100% solid. Other than that, great! :)

YOu know the great thing about Fantasy is that you can do anything you want without it making much sense. I'm appalled at how nasty some people can be in their comments. I know it's to help the artist but most of the time that artist only wishes they could paint half as good as this. In every piece of art there are mistakes because not even the finest artists are perfect. As artist we are well aware of it without having to be told so. I for one think this is a great piece of work. It's as though he stands waiting for his love to take the same form as him and he stands by her through her transformation. Anyway, before I get on some major ramble I will just tell you that this is an excellent piece of work and thank you for sharing! ~regards Mel

hmmm nice work dude, but you may want to consider putting this under the "explicit content". ;) Thanks.

Hello all,
Hmm this one caused quite a mixed review. As far as the lighting, I had no reference and this was a rush piece started long ago which I just touched up as quickly as possible. So I did not take the time to calculate accurate lighting. That said I never take offense at peoples critiques. Some are constructive, some are not. But I appreciate

them non the less. I really wanted a Pulp Comic style mixed with Bad Romance Novel topped of with a little Classic Horror, eer just for fun.

Ron

jam I'm sorry I did not mean come across as that err, explicit

thank you BigCircus for accepting criticism. And DrmzRmyne, I understand where you are coming from, but honestly, people don't become better artists when people post a comment like, "ooooooh awesome piece!!!!! :)". I would much rather have someone tell me their honest opinion than a candy coated compliment. SO if some critiques sound harsh, it's only meant to help. if i had said, "This piece sucks" (which it DOESNT) and that was all i said, it would not help. Instead, I mentioned specific details about the piece that i found out of place. That is all. As artists we need to learn to accept constructive criticism, and if we do not agree with it, that is our own problem.

Thanks for stopping back imzadione.
You are correct. Sensitivity has no place especially for illustrators which is what I am, for the most part.

Even people who just say it sucks or it's great are letting you know there taste in art which is also helpful

arenhaus comment is even helpful in that he is letting me know that he does not like the quick and slick style this was rendered in and would, I'm guessing, prefer a bit more "Grit" if you will, and a little less flash. Which is fine. I would love to make every illustration a labor of love, but it is not always possible given time constraints.

How ever I wish to Thank DrmzRmyne for recognising the part about the wolfman waiting for the woman to join him (It's as though he stands waiting for his love to take the same form as him and he stands by her through her transformation). Even though it's a quick and slick illustration, that part is sincere.

Thanks agaign everyone for the feedback

love the improvements, BigCircus. That was quick! I really admire people who are willing to rework a piece that they have already spent a lot of time on. A lot of times we think our work is "finished" and we are stubborn to rework it. This piece is turning out great!

Looks nice, is the werewolf giving his curse of lycanthropy to the woman because it looks like the werewolfs arm is turning human the and the womans arm is turning werewolf, just something I noticed.+P
