her knee looks unnaturally bent,
and there seems to be a line across her wrist (dont know what it is).

giving access to veiw a larger version will get you more constructive crits.

I like the lighting... I do think we should be able to see the girl's foot though. The drapery was handled nicely, especially around the sleeves. I think this would look even better placed in a more solid background.

...add a background. Backgrounds let an image often come more to life.

I think it might be better if the doctor's left hand isn't visible, but just IMHO. I like it a lot, especially the style of colouring. Nice touch on the glowy, wispy things coming off the girl ^_^ +6!

The familiar is actually a spirit - a doll girl, sewn up like frankenstein's monster. I made her too physical I guess.
I've learned from local TV interviews with people who've seen ghosts that you can't see their feet.

wispy stuff could have some sharper shapes too and doctor's elbow is way too sharp

yeah maybe making her a little more "spirit like" would improve it but i like the pencil work and lighting on this one great job!

Nice picture I think a backround would definately add something to this, the doctors right hands fingers look too short though, even though they're half clenched they would look better longer I think. Nice work. +5

I can tell you understand the anatomy very well and also I like the color, the only comment I got is the silhoutte, like the Doctor's left arm, you could have moved it forward a little bit more to see it clearly or you could have just lose it. On the girl's legs, since you decided to make her look more fleshy than ghostly, you could have added the left leg which is missing and just stretch it down to the floor like tip-toeing.
The thing is when you decided not to show the leg, that means your leaving it to the
viewers imagination and I think the others will agree on me saying that I imagine the other leg curled around the Doctor's waist or leg which is for arts sake, it looks awkward.But still you did a great job, you just forgot one important aspect in illustration which is the silhoutte. You got the skill pal, keep up the good work!
