Description

Another one, a backdrop for the story. This is where the boy gets out of the train to go to school every day.
Pencil sketch, coloted in painter 8 with touches of PS7. about 8-10 hours to paint, i think.
I may add some characters later. Right now, this will be the last pic in the story for a while, I want to do some experiments with other styles.

Nice comp. Remind me of anime BG of Ghibli studio. The stack rock wall is the weaker part. You should add more details to it. Moss or crack, more shadows, etc..

Excellent work- I agree with Stephan about the rock wall. And this pic does need people.

The shadows cast onto the ground and tracks from the trees above looks very convincing. How do you paint like this?!
