I'm glad you posted this- it's great! I love all the details, the colours, the lighting, the sense of story....... My only critique would be that the palm leaves down the bottom and the leaves up in the top corner look a little too smooth compared to the rest of the picture, but I'm guessing this is where you got tired of working on this. If you ever feel like going back to this, those would be the places to do up a little more, I think. But, the picture still holds excellently as is. You get my full marks! Keep posting! +9

Wow great piece, the textures and colors are outstanding! I love the color scheme, green reigns as your primary color through out and barely strays which looks great and is done perfectly. The fur on the lion is so well done, you really captured the sense of it all. Fantastic work

Woah, holy poop! If I hadn't been so enthralled by the forest, I might not have let the rest of it load (400K on dialup!! o_O ) but definitely worth the wait...beautiful detail, great depth... Maybe some more saturation in the foreground would be nice...it seems to drop back against the really saturated background. Still...really great stuff. +10, definitely.

I like this one very much, ^^ I like the kinda messiness to it, gives it added texter to the jungle...their not perfect you know...lol. I love the lion, it reminds me of the Lion in the Narnia book series, it was also an animated short a long time ago, dont know if you ever saw it, but that lion looks just like the one in the movie. cool! i love lions and i think you did an awesome job with this one. the only thing that bothers me is his right paw (the one touching the ground) - it looks like he is not putting any weight on it and that takes away from the strength of his character. it should go flatter against the rock. i want to see more of this story!!!!!

This is a lovely work but only one thing bugs me... If you were on a charging lion, pursuing another great and wonderful lion, wouldn't your eyes be glued on the lion turning to be confronted? The lion in the image is preparing for this and his eyes have gone beyond the scene to the right. But Sette still has her eyes pointed forward, as if she was ushering on a galloping pony. However, if I hadn't known that the white lion was wandering around, I probably wouldn't have any critique to make as I think this work is .

Beautiful work--but we'd expect nothing less. Hope I don't get flogged for this, but the lion's face seems rather flat. His pose is great, but he's not quite 'alive' like the figure on his back. I really do love the work in the background, and the poses/composition are nicely dramatic.

I like it ... but , The Lions Claws shouldn`t be showing as much , because like (almoust) All Cats ... it show its claws , only when Ataking , Fighting , or Hunting .... if it ran with its claws out like that , over time they `ll become not as sharp ... thats way , (almost) all cats retrack their Claws when runing ....
