Though I don´t think the background is as well done as the main figure.

Very imaginative and very well done. I particularly like the green on the inside and you've really done the transition seamlessly. Also great colors and beautiful lighting.

The only question I have is the top swirling cloud. My first thought was that the man/creature was in a cave of some sort and the light source was coming from the glowing floating man. I realized it was a dark cloud only after reading your description. I kow you mentioned you were still making adjustments but was that one of the areas you were working on? At the moment it looks to me like some sort of extention of a cave or cliff. Sorry if I'm off base here, just tryin to help.

Yeah, it's my intention to mess with the cloud a bit more. (Unfortunately I'm at school right now, and my pic is at home on my other computer. sigh.)

Great concept... but I must say, that the human part isnt drawn as well as goblins. At least the face... Otherwise, nice details.

wow great transition from grotesque to beautiful! Possibly darkening his evil eye? right now it look's kind of out of context with his dark face.

I think I got discouraged from entering lol.

I think that's awesome,the only thing is it feels like the glowing man is not in the distance but rather a little too close.I think an easy remedy would be to put something inbetween them on the ground.For appearances sake,very cool.

Interesting idea. Lighting is nice, and the "darker side" of the figure is shadowed nicely. The background is a bit vacant though. It would be nice to have a frame of reference back there.

I absolutely adore this. Saw it the other day in the contest and was floored by it. It is great as it is. But if you want to keep tweeking. I can understand that...lol...I have to tie my hands up to stop.
The only thing that you should play with is the glowing white figure...I think the clouds look great....I saw a cloud formation just like that one day and wished I had a camera with me....it twirled around the sun too...just like that. But the sun was hazy...So that makes me think that the figure might look better if it is just hazed a bit with orange to put it in the sky more and take it down a notch as focal point.

You see this great figure and then you follow its eyes to what it is looking at...(fab composition) so I don't think it would take from the picture if what he is looking at is slightly less bright and outlined.

Great job on the character design and the whole idea. I admire people with healthy imagination. Little more work on the clouds perhaps but be careful not to overdo with the the details in the background. Stay focused on what's more important.

Nice lighting, although it doesn't look quite correct; the strong colours and the glowing figure are brilliant.

I like this entry a lot (way better than mine )! When I first saw it my jaw just dropped... the human moster idea is really clever and I like the way hope is depicted.

This is excellent but I can't help feeling it would be even better if you had left out the human part of the demon and replaced it with a glowing entity. +7

That is beauteous! I love the muscle structure in his 'evil' half. Very original and creepy. The only thing is I am not sure if the little white figure is just small or if it is rather distant. I can't decided, because it could be either.
