Description
One of that works born spontaneously. In the beginning it was little sketch on sheet of office paper(at my work place there is always A4 sheet near keyboard, on which i sometime draw something), i liked it and as a result it has grown up into complete finished work.
Main thing of this work is its unusual mood.
Graceful and lean wizard with grin of self-confidence on his lips, magic wand in his hands, strange cloak on his back. On one hand he is kind of saying "Here i am. At your service!", on other, his grin, and eyes hidden under broad brim of his hat, make viewer treat him with caution. He is experienced wizard, he is bothered lightly with problems of simple mortals, they more often make him smile than bother.
But main thing, what gives singularity to this work , from my point of view, is the composition and general "whirliness" of it. Pose of the wizard, bends of his cloak, background... many other smaller elements create common dynamics, they are supposed to hold viewer and walk him through the picture from start to finish dragging him deeper into one of main bends...
My goal was to make the picture interesting and expressive, image with character and its own unusual atmosphere... i can go on for long about what i would like to do, but how well i succeed is for you to decide
