This is a painting I did about 2 or 3 years ago. I worked from a photo which has long since been lost, so I cannot provide it. This is from when I was worried about making my work look like a photo. It was my first oil painting, which is evident in the use of color in the skin tones (alot of red, not much green). Sorry about the scan lines, too lazy to fix them right now.

As you have said, there's too much red in the skin, ilumination is ok, I think there should be a little more lightning on his nose though. Nice expresion. The hair looks quite weird
