Description

This is another place in the manuscript I'm writing. This is the Fountian of Renewal, When you drink the water you either turn into a butterfly which is good or you become a crooked half horse/goat thing and have to wait near the fountian for the rest of eternity or until someone decides to take you home with them. Then you revert to your previous self and can have another try at becoming a butterfly.

Photoshop 7, Wacom tablet and many hours of my life. I hope I improved some from my previous stuff.

I think i'll stay away from the fountain(since I dont feel like becoming an animal)and just go have a coke.A lot of pretty colors going on here,and it's much improved since I saw it in the wip section.

The flowers dont quite feel 3-d to me enough,also I think the grass could be less flat.But then again,this seems like a specific style,so maybe you were going for that.Keep working on perspective,study others work and you'll get it.^_^

The colors are not pretty at all, but rather, are very ugly for some reason. I think it's the contrast / saturation, and the thick black border lines running through much of the composition's upper half.

I agree with Yerffej, this has improved much from the WIP section. Though I do think that there is something off with the contrast (probably our doing in the WIP section, sorry about that). The colours seem to have taken on a neon-like appearance, which is possibly what DigitalPlazma was talking about.

I really like the fountain and the butterflies, they're very pretty. I especially like the blue one and the yellow one in front of the fountain. There's an orange butterfly on the right side of the picture that gets lost a bit in front of the flowers, though.

Overall, well done. Yes, you are improving.

I think it turned out quite nice and it's nice to see nature scenes for a change ^^)
I do think the wip colours were better, i think you overdid the colour adjustment to get more contrast :0
